Job Description
Virtual primary care physician delivering video and messaging-based care for One Medical, an Amazon healthcare company. Managing acute, chronic, and preventive visits while overseeing NP and PA colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional virtual primary care through scheduled and on-demand video visits and asynchronous messaging
- Treat patients via telehealth visits, including video appointments and message-based care
- Virtually manage acute, chronic, and well visits across a broad array of patient needs
- Adopt standard work and clinical protocols for evidence-based clinical care
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning modalities
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership through daily huddles
- Provide collaborative oversight of 4–8 NP or PA colleagues
Requirements:
- Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in a primary care or virtual primary care setting
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
- Active state license in either CA, NY, or DC
- Minimum of 15 state licenses
- Willingness to obtain and maintain additional licenses with support from the One Medical Credentialing Team
- Experience with virtual care and/or virtual primary care preferred
- Full-time schedule includes some evenings and weekends
- Must reside in the United States
- Authorized to work in the U.S.; One Medical participates in E-Verify
