Job Description
Virtual primary care physician delivering evidence-based telehealth for One Medical, a technology-enabled healthcare provider. Managing acute, chronic, and preventive care while overseeing NP and PA colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver scheduled and on-demand virtual primary care through video visits and asynchronous messaging
- Treat patients via telehealth, including video appointments, panel management, and message-based care
- Manage acute, chronic, and preventive/well visits for a broad range of patient needs
- Follow standard work and clinical protocols for evidence-based care
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership through daily huddles
- Provide collaborative oversight of 4–8 NP or PA colleagues
Requirements:
- Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in a primary care or virtual primary care setting
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
- Active state license in either California, New York, or District of Columbia
- Minimum of 15 state licenses
- Willingness to obtain and maintain additional licenses with support from the One Medical Credentialing Team
- Experience with virtual care and/or virtual primary care preferred
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Passion for human-centered primary care and desire to contribute to a healthcare delivery team
- Openness to feedback and reflection
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Adaptability and flexibility in a growth-phase clinical organization
