Job Description
Virtual primary care physician delivering video and message-based care for One Medical, an Amazon healthcare company. Managing acute, chronic, and preventive visits remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Treat patients through telehealth visits, including video appointments and message-based care
- Manage a broad array of patient needs virtually
- Conduct acute, chronic, and well visits
- Adopt standard work and clinical protocols for evidence-based care
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership through daily huddles
- Provide collaborative oversight of 4–8 NP or PA colleagues
Requirements:
- Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in a primary care or virtual primary care setting
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
- Active state license in either California, New York, or Washington, D.C.
- Minimum of 15 state licenses
- Willingness to obtain and maintain additional licenses with support from the One Medical Credentialing Team
- Experience with virtual care and/or virtual primary care preferred
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Authorization to work in the United States
