Job Description
Webflow Front End Developer designing and building websites for Australian companies. Engaged by client directly as independent contractor with remote work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain small-to-medium websites using Webflow
- Implement UI designs while applying UX best practices
- Translate briefs and wireframes into polished, responsive websites
- Ensure websites meet SEO and performance best practices, including PageSpeed optimisation
- Collaborate with consultants and designers on creative executions
- Support delivery of digital assets such as social media graphics and campaign materials
Requirements:
- Proven experience **designing and building websites in Webflow** (core requirement)
- Strong design capability with the ability to create original layouts, not just adapt existing ones
- Working knowledge of WordPress
- Strong proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools
- Solid understanding of on-site SEO best practices
- Familiarity with technical concepts including caching, CDNs, image and asset optimisation, and DNS/domain management
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
- Ability to create creative assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Video editing or motion graphics experience is a plus
