Werkstudent:in Grafikdesign im remote Praktikum bei Bücherbüchse. Fokus auf Buchsatz, Cover-Design, und Printmediengestaltung.

Typesetting books in Adobe InDesign (priority task)
Creation of book color separations, designs for promotional items (goodies), cover designs, and print finishing effects
Reviewing artist/designer files for print jobs and adjusting them if necessary (color profiles, dimensions, bleed, etc.)
Creating and adapting documents for print media
Creating vector files and converting them as required

You are currently studying Graphic Design, Media Design, or Print Design, or you already have a comparable qualification (e.g., completed similar projects)
Career changers are welcome — however, excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and experience in cover design, typesetting, and print media design are essential
Terms like crop marks, widows and orphans, and ICC profiles are familiar to you
Strong technical understanding of print and media production
Very good knowledge of and hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
Highly reliable, able to work independently and in a structured way, and committed to delivering high-quality work
Committed and motivated — whether working in a team or alone
Strong communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken
Team player and consistently dependable
Hands-on mentality and excellent problem-solving skills
