Job Description
Detail-oriented Accounting Contractor for Maze, aiding in finance and accounting tasks part-time. Collaborating in a remote team focused on delivering insights for product development.
Responsibilities:
- Help with accounts receivable and collections, including dunning process management
- Support accounts payable and credit card reconciliation
- Support month end including FP&A work (reporting and financial analysis)
- Run month-end commissions processing with accuracy and on short time-table
- Support audit preparation and execution
- Step into ad hoc tasks/projects as they arise, this role requires flexibility and a willingness to lean in where needed
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience across AR, AP, commissions, and FP&A
- Experience with Xero, Rillet, or similar accounting platforms
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and new projects surface regularly
- A team-player mindset and strong communication skills across functions
- A track record of managing workstreams independently and delivering reliably
