Job Description

Adjunct Faculty position for Criminal Justice program at UMGC teaching remotely from anywhere. Engaging students and providing constructive feedback for their academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach remotely for the Criminal Justice & Public Safety Administration program.
  • Work with program staff and the Instructional Design team as subject matter expert.
  • Engage students through frequent interaction to motivate them.
  • Provide rich and regular constructive feedback, and help students connect concepts across their academic program.

Requirements:

  • Master’s in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Professional experience in Law Enforcement
  • Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred Education and Experience: Terminal degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Experience as a police administrator.
  • Experience in Higher Education curriculum development.
