Job Description

Advising Support Representative assisting learners via phone and text for Capella University. Fostering learner independence and removing roadblocks for academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • responsible for creating a high-quality experience for learners
  • provide phone and text support to empower learners
  • assist learners in removing roadblocks
  • educate learners about self-service resources
  • respond to learners via various communication channels
  • manage learner data using Salesforce and other systems
  • support outbound call campaign efforts

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a professional setting
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • solid customer service skills
  • high school diploma required
  • some college experience is preferred
  • must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
  • must be able to lift 25 lbs
  • strong mental acuity
  • ability to adhere to and follow a set daily/weekly schedule
