Job Description
AI and Automation Specialist building integrations, workflows, and AI tools for Rex Moore’s construction and enterprise operations. Automating processes, activating data, and supporting organization-wide adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Build, operate, and continuously improve automations across business functions
- Identify manual processes and implement automations that save time and reduce errors
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with deployed automations
- Prioritize and execute automation work under the direction of the Director of OOIA
- Build and maintain ERP, CRM, and enterprise-system integrations
- Work with APIs, webhooks, JSON, and automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate, and Make
- Manage AI tool integrations, connectors, and prompt libraries
- Build AI-powered workflows for document processing, data extraction, summarization, and decision support
- Develop, test, and refine prompts and AI workflow instructions
- Track AI usage, output quality, and workflow costs
- Capture, measure, transform, clean, and activate operational data
- Partner with the central data infrastructure team
- Support enterprise rollout, onboarding, adoption, and ongoing support for AI and automation tools
- Create user guides, documentation, and training materials
- Reinforce responsible-use and data-handling practices with IT
- Write Python scripts for data transformation, API calls, file processing, and custom logic
- Apply version control, error handling, and clear documentation
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience building business automations and integrations using modern workflow and automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate, Make, Zapier, or comparable tools
- Experience connecting systems via APIs, webhooks, and connectors, and working with structured data (JSON)
- Practical experience using AI / LLM tools, connecting them to workflows, writing effective prompts, and managing integrations
- Python proficiency, including scripting, API calls, JSON handling, data transformation, and error handling
- Ability to capture, transform, and work with data from multiple sources
- Ability to learn and work across modern ERP, CRM, and enterprise platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a self-directed, execution-oriented work style
- Clear communication and ability to teach non-technical colleagues how to use new tools
- Ability to verbally communicate detailed and accurate instructions and information
- Ability to hear with or without correction to receive and interpret detailed information
- Ability to sit at a desk workstation for long and short periods
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry at least 10 pounds
- Visual acuity with or without correction to read contract information and view computer monitors
- Ability to use fingers and hands to type, handle, feel, and reach
