Job Description

AI Product Director building brightfin’s FinOps AI platform for enterprise technology-spend optimization. Owning product strategy, pricing, design partners, and initial go-to-market execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for FinOps AI / ITFM+, spanning cloud spend and AI cost/usage management
  • Position the product pillar against AI value and ROI layers built on legacy cost reporting
  • Differentiate brightfin's unified cost-optimization approach across technology spend
  • Decide packaging between a standalone AI SKU and embedding AI capability in existing ITFM/TEM SKUs
  • Build the business case for packaging options
  • Price for outcome and reasoning value rather than model access
  • Define the MVP
  • Run design partner engagements
  • Validate pricing hands-on as a solo builder
  • Take the pillar from first revenue dollar to meaningful ARR
  • Build the team and go-to-market plan as the pillar scales
  • Drive ICP definition, sales enablement, competitive positioning, and initial deal closure

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of product leadership experience
  • Experience building or leading an AI-native product whose core value proposition is AI, including agentic workflows, reasoning, automation, or ML-driven decisioning
  • Product leadership experience at a direct or adjacent competitor in the ITFM/TEM/FinOps space
  • Firsthand knowledge of how ITFM/TEM/FinOps platforms package and price AI capability
  • Track record taking an AI-native product from MVP through design partners to $0–10M in revenue
  • Experience pricing an AI feature or agent when underlying model cost is not the customer's only line item
  • Experience personally driving ICP definition, pricing and packaging decisions, sales enablement, and competitive positioning
  • Comfortable operating as an individual contributor through a 0-to-1 phase
  • Fluent in enterprise requirements including auditability, governance, role-based access, and explainable output
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Candidates are subject to a background check
  • Must adhere to brightfin's Information Security and Privacy policies and procedures
  • US-based work authorization/location requirement

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits package
  • Paid time off
  • 401K with employer match
  • Remote-first work arrangement
