Job Description
AI red teaming expert probing Mercor-trained frontier models for jailbreaks, bias, and misuse. Generating reproducible safety data and vulnerability reports for AI labs and enterprise customers.
Responsibilities:
- Red team conversational AI models and agents
- Probe models for jailbreaks, prompt injections, misuse cases, bias exploitation, and multi-turn manipulation
- Generate human data by annotating failures, classifying vulnerabilities, and flagging systemic risks
- Apply taxonomies, benchmarks, and playbooks to keep testing consistent
- Produce reproducible reports, datasets, and attack cases for customers
- Review AI outputs involving sensitive topics such as bias, misinformation, and harmful behaviors
- Expand evaluation coverage and uncover vulnerabilities automated tests miss
- Create artifacts that strengthen customer AI systems
Requirements:
- Fluent/native fluency in English and Odia required
- Prior red teaming experience in AI adversarial work, cybersecurity, or socio-technical probing
- Ability to probe AI models using jailbreaks, prompt injections, misuse cases, bias exploitation, and multi-turn manipulation
- Ability to annotate failures, classify vulnerabilities, and flag systemic risks
- Ability to follow taxonomies, benchmarks, and playbooks
- Ability to produce reproducible reports, datasets, and attack cases
- Ability to explain risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Adaptability across projects and customers
- Nice-to-have specialties include adversarial ML, cybersecurity, socio-technical risk, and creative probing
- Independent contractor engagement
