Job Description
Bilingual German Generalist evaluating sensitive-topic AI behavior for Mercor’s frontier-model training projects. Writing German prompts, classifying conversations, and flagging adversarial patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Write expert-level prompts in German across sensitive subject areas
- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations
- Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns
- Document the reasoning behind judgments
- Evaluate and strengthen how advanced AI models handle sensitive topics in German
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in German
- Business-level written English
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress
- Strong written reasoning
- High attention to detail
- Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information
- Independent contractor engagement
- Must not require H1-B or STEM OPT support
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content is nice to have
- Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing is nice to have
