Job Description

AI Transformation Consultant at EXL leading AI transformation strategies for enterprise clients. Partnering with C-Suite stakeholders to design and implement AI and GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end AI transformation engagements from discovery and design through deployment, ensuring measurable ROI and enterprise alignment.
  • Develop and implement AI/GenAI strategies across business functions including finance, operations, risk, and customer experience.
  • Design Intelligent Automation solutions leveraging RPA, IDP, advanced analytics, and LLM-based workflows to re-engineer core processes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior leadership; translate AI capabilities into compelling business cases and transformation roadmaps.
  • Partner with technology, product, and data teams to integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise platforms and data ecosystems.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams; drive concurrent AI and Automation workstreams using Agile methodologies.
  • Develop AS-IS / TO-BE process maps to identify automation and AI augmentation opportunities with quantified business impact.
  • Monitor and report on AI program performance; build dashboards and KPI frameworks for executive stakeholder visibility.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and evaluate new tools, models, and frameworks for enterprise applicability.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise AI program leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML deployment, RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere), IDP, and GenAI tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead AI Centers of Excellence or similar governance bodies.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills — ability to present to and influence CXO-level audiences.
  • MBA from a top-tier institution or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; hands-on experience with process reengineering methodologies.
  • Certifications in GenAI for Business Leaders (PMI) or equivalent.
  • Financial services domain expertise — wealth management, annuities, insurance, or banking.
  • Experience with Task Mining, Workforce Intelligence tools, or process discovery platforms.
