Job Description

Associate Professional Business Analyst supporting healthcare innovators at Gainwell by analyzing and creating innovative technologies. Collaborating with teams to improve health and human services outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and create innovative, purpose-built technologies and solutions
  • Collaborate with a team of business analysts making client recommendations
  • Translate client’s business needs into simpler non-tech language
  • Help analyze and document systems requirements and business processes
  • Build basic conceptual data and process models
  • Verify that client requirements are built into the system design
  • Be part of technical reviews and inspections with senior leaders
  • Expand technical skills in software applications such as Microsoft Excel, SQL or Visio

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and software such as Microsoft Office
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and triage bugs and defects
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in a professional work environment
  • Interest in working at the intersection of the ‘technical’ and ‘non-technical’ and learning more about business processes and re-engineering
  • Ability to work in a team environment with other professionals
