Job Description
Associate Director designing enterprise product-management roles, competency models, and operating frameworks at Brillio. Shaping AI-enabled product development for Fortune 1000 clients.
Responsibilities:
- Define the future-state product management role, differentiating it from business ownership, business process ownership, technical product ownership, and engineering functions
- Develop and implement robust role architecture and competency models for critical product management positions
- Design and document the interaction model between product, business, and engineering teams, establishing clear decision rights, workflows, and accountability
- Build and manage the transition and retirement map for current role families
- Lead capacity planning, organization sizing, workforce requirements analysis, and talent transition frameworks
- Produce leadership-ready artifacts, including role comparisons, strawman models, and workshop materials
- Collaborate with the Head of Product and internal HR and Legal stakeholders
- Integrate new skill requirements and operating approaches into product management roles for an AI-enabled, specification-driven development model
Requirements:
- Experience Range: 15 - 18 years of experience, including substantial hands-on experience designing and implementing product management functions within large, complex organizations, ideally in regulated sectors
- Product management function design and implementation in large, complex, or regulated environments
- Organization design and role architecture development
- Expertise in AI-enabled, specification-driven development models
- Experience managing product backlogs at program and enterprise scale
- Product roadmap and vision development for large-scale organizations
- Designing product blueprints and competency models
- Business process analysis and mapping across enterprise domains
- Advanced proficiency in presentation and documentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Miro, Lucidchart)
- Talent transition frameworks and workforce planning methodologies
