Job Description
Strategic Advisor helping XTEL’s AI-driven CPG software clients connect business goals with technology. Guiding analytics, training, and value-realization initiatives for measurable commercial growth.
Responsibilities:
- Understand broad CPG business goals in RGM and TPM, including pricing, trade terms, promotional ROI, and assortment
- Translate business goals into specific platform requirements
- Run parallel market connect sessions during project kick-offs
- Ground software setup in the client’s commercial strategy and KPIs
- Act as the internal client for the technical implementation team
- Challenge deployments to ensure they are pragmatic, relevant, and aligned with user needs
- Deliver hands-on training using the client’s market data
- Build client-specific business recipes for analytical use cases
- Facilitate commercial business sprints
- Guide clients from their first analytical run to profitable revenue growth and long-term value realization
- Serve as the operational bridge between client business teams and technical leads
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in business consulting, category management, trade marketing, RGM, TPM, or commercial analytics within CPG or software advisory
- Experience driving day-to-day execution of the four engagement phases: Market Connect, Data Review/UAT, Super-User Training, and Value Extraction workshops
- Experience serving as the primary operational bridge between client business teams and technical leads
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent facilitation and training skills
- Comfortable handling client data
- Ability to challenge technical setups
- Ability to translate software outputs into actionable commercial insights
- Strong understanding of CPG commercial dynamics, pricing, promotions, and category management
