Job Description
Associate Medical Director supporting health plan relationships and expanding provider network impact at Headway. Collaborating cross-functionally to enhance behavioral health delivery system.
Responsibilities:
- Support Headway health plan partnerships and strategy
- Promote external relations with Payers through presentations and sales meetings
- Drive innovative data analyses to prove patient outcomes and generate insights
- Develop understanding of digital tools for mental health clinicians
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations
- Be willing to travel
Requirements:
- Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Clinical Psychologist (PhD) with 3+ years clinical experience
- 2+ years of experience working in payer or partnership roles, ideally in technology environments
- Industry influencer with demonstrated passion for reimagining behavioral health delivery
- Proven thought leader with peer-reviewed publications or expert content
- Effective at communicating clinical information to non-clinical staff
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting data & research insights
- Creative thinker who can explore data in new ways
- Familiar with clinical quality measurement and peer review systems
- Based on or near the East Coast and willing to travel
