Job Description
Lawyer specializing in customer flight claims, assisting customers with legal advice and case management. Working remotely in Germany for AirAdvisor assisting in consumer rights in the aviation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers who have experienced flight-related issues
- Provide legal advice and guidance to customers
- Manage a portfolio of customer flight claims
- Contact airlines and other relevant parties to negotiate fair settlements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Maintain accurate and detailed case files
- Stay up to date on developments in consumer protection law, aviation regulations, and relevant legal precedents
Requirements:
- Law degree from an accredited institution and a valid attorney license
- At least 2 years of legal practice experience with a focus on consumer rights or aviation law
- Strong understanding of relevant consumer protection laws, aviation regulations, and legal procedures related to flight claims
- Demonstrated experience representing clients in court, including drafting legal documents, conducting hearings, and effectively presenting arguments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Proven track record in negotiating and settling legal claims
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to detail
