Job Description

Senior Legal Counsel enabling growth through high-impact transactions and driving legal strategy at Armada. Remote role focused on complex commercial agreements and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including MSAs, reseller/partner agreements, DPAs, and public sector contracts
  • Lead complex, high-value technology transactions end-to-end, including negotiation strategy, stakeholder alignment, and escalation management
  • Serve as a strategic legal partner to sales, revenue, product, and compliance teams, balancing risk with business objectives
  • Independently manage a high volume of deals with minimal oversight while maintaining quality and velocity
  • Design and implement scalable legal processes, templates, and playbooks to support company growth
  • Interpret and apply evolving legal and regulatory frameworks (AI, data privacy, government contracting) to Armada’s business model
  • Provide clear, actionable guidance on legal and compliance risks, including proposing solutions—not just identifying issues
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence decision-making across teams and levels
  • Support expansion into public sector markets through compliance program development and contract strategy
  • Manage outside counsel efficiently and escalate strategically when needed

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience supporting commercial transactions
  • 3+ years of in-house experience in B2B software, infrastructure, or systems companies
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex deal negotiations and close transactions on critical timelines
  • Strong business acumen and pragmatic legal judgment
  • Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, early-stage or high-growth environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with public sector or government contracting
  • Familiarity with data privacy, AI, and emerging technology regulations

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary and equity
  • Medical, dental, and vision (subsidized cost)
  • Health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), and dependent care FSAs (DCFSA)
  • Retirement plan options, including 401(k) and Roth 401(k)
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO)
  • 14 paid company holidays per year
