Job Description
Professional with analytical and technical profile for data team in software development. Focused on Tableau visualization and data pipeline contributions at Itix.
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a professional with an analytical and technical profile to join the data team, with a focus on building and maintaining visualization dashboards in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Cloud.
- The professional will operate within an established set of development guidelines and standards defined by the team, ensuring visual consistency, good performance, and governance in the delivered dashboards.
- Beyond the visualization layer, the candidate is expected to understand the workings of data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and, preferably, be able to contribute to developing these solutions with knowledge of Python and Apache Airflow.
Requirements:
- Solid experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Cloud (creating visualizations, calculations, LODs, parameters)
- Ability to follow established development standards and guidelines
- Knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines
- Clear communication and ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience developing ETL pipelines in Python (plus)
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow (DAGs, operators, task scheduling) (plus)
- Experience with code versioning best practices (Git) (plus)
- Basic understanding of dimensional modeling (star schema, data mart) (plus)
