Job Description
Business Intelligence Developer responsible for Power BI development and analytics solutions. Leading design and optimization of dashboards while collaborating with data engineers in a healthcare-focused role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards
- Serve as a Power BI subject‑matter expert, advising on best practices
- Develop complex DAX measures and calculations
- Optimize report performance and dataset size
- Advise on data structures and dimensional models with BI Engineers
- Review and validate analytical outputs for accuracy and clarity
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data visualization
- Experience supporting executive or client‑facing dashboards
- Expert-level experience with Power BI
- Strong SQL skills and experience working directly with enterprise data warehouses
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with BI Engineers or data engineers on data modeling decisions
- Intermediate to advanced experience in Tableau strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated data environments strongly preferred
