Job Description
BI Specialist transforming data into actionable insights for logistics platform Muvr. Partnering with multiple teams to build dashboards, reports, and analyses supporting data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across operations, growth, finance, safety, and customer experience.
- Translate business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable insights.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and deep dives to support leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports used by stakeholders across the organization.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all reporting outputs.
- Define, document, and maintain key business metrics and KPIs.
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources.
- Partner with Product and Data Engineering teams on data modeling and metric definitions.
- Improve data accessibility and support self-service analytics for business users.
- Work closely with Operations, Product, Finance, Risk & Compliance, and Trust & Safety teams.
- Gather requirements, prioritize reporting needs, and deliver insights that drive action.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred Experience in logistics, marketplace, mobility, or gig-economy environments.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Understanding of data modeling and analytics engineering concepts.
- Basic experience with Python or R for analysis.
