Job Description
Power BI Developer designing advanced reports and dashboards for Atlas Technica's clients. Responsibilities include data transformation, query optimization, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and interactive dashboards aligned with business requirements
- Maintain and optimize data analytics platforms to ensure consistently high query and model performance
- Work with complex Power BI semantic models and large datasets, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and efficiency
- Connect to various data sources and transform data into actionable insights through Power Query
- Conduct analysis with a strong focus on query optimization and data efficiency
- Evaluate, refactor, and enhance existing BI solutions to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Present information through high-performance reports and complex visualizations tailored to business needs
- Create technical documentation to support scalable Power BI solutions
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
- Train and support end-users on Power BI functionality, ensuring they can utilize the tools effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering
Requirements:
- English level – B2 or higher
- 4+ years of proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI Engineer
- Strong knowledge of SQL with ability to write optimized queries for complex datasets
- Proficiency with DAX, including performance optimization, context transition, advanced calculations, implementing Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Proficiency in Power Query, including experience with complex transformations
- Proven ability to transform complex data into compelling visual reports and dashboards
- Proficient in data visualization best practices
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
- Strong technical documentation skills
