Job Description
Oracle BigMachines Developer building Oracle CPQ and procurement solutions for an India-based client. Developing BML configurations, integrations, and pricing logic.
Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications
- Design, develop, and test BML scripts and Oracle CPQ configurations
- Implement and manage Oracle BigMachines data models, workflows, and integration points
- Collaborate with application and technical teams to integrate ERP, CRM, and other back-end systems
- Optimize BML code for performance and maintainability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Document development processes, technical designs, and user guides
- Stay updated on Oracle CPQ features, releases, and best practices
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle BigMachines and CPQ
- Strong proficiency in BML scripting and Oracle CPQ configuration
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex pricing, bundling, and discounting logic
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, REST, and SOAP APIs
- Solid understanding of data modeling, workflow design, and enterprise architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams
