Job Description
Early-career Network Engineer designing and automating Cisco infrastructure for Capgemini Engineering’s global customers. Remote collaboration from Colombia across international engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Cisco technologies across large-scale, complex network environments
- Analyze, monitor, and optimize network performance
- Identify opportunities to automate repeatable tasks and streamline manual processes
- Develop and influence software tools and scripts for network design, infrastructure management, and technology platforms
- Act as a technical partner to customers
- Proactively solve network incidents and prevent recurrence
- Independently troubleshoot complex problems across mixed and unique network environments
- Collaborate with global engineering teams
- Provide technical guidance and support field engineers in problem resolution
- Contribute to new service capabilities and delivery models
Requirements:
- 1-2+ years of experience in network engineering or a related technical discipline
- Exposure to Cisco technologies
- Foundational knowledge of network design, infrastructure, and technology platforms
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network issues in complex environments
- Experience or strong interest in network automation
- Scripting or tooling experience to automate manual processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work across diverse, global teams
- Willingness to support knowledge sharing and contribute to internal and external technical training activities
