Job Description
Bilingual Life Claims Adjudicator ensuring accurate and efficient processing of life insurance claims at Manulife. Collaborating with beneficiaries and internal teams to maintain the integrity of the claims process.
Responsibilities:
- Review and adjudicate death claims
- Verify eligibility by analyzing policy details and supporting documentation
- Request additional information if necessary
- Maintain accurate and complete claim records
- Communicate claim decisions clearly to beneficiaries and stakeholders
- Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate cases
- Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and compliance teams
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in life insurance claims adjudication or a related field
- Bilingual (French & English) is required
- Strong knowledge of life insurance products, policy provisions, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Familiarity with fraud detection practices and compliance standards
