Job Description
Certified Medical Assistant conducting Medicare Annual Wellness Visit pre-screenings over the phone for Welltality. Ideal for candidates who thrive in structured, phone-based environments with a focus on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Annual Wellness Visit questionnaires over the phone with patients
- Make outbound calls to schedule and complete screenings
- Accurately document patient information in EMR systems (NextGen, etc.)
- Identify eligible patients and assist with scheduling
- Maintain clear, professional communication with patients and clinic staff
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant
- Meet daily and monthly performance expectations
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
- Previous experience in phone-based or call center work strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Highly dependable with strong time management and accountability
- Tech-savvy with experience using EMRs and Microsoft Office
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
