Job Description

Brand Designer responsible for designing ads and managing brand initiatives for Felix's healthcare platform. Collaborating with teams to deliver engaging and cohesive design assets across all surfaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the design of static ads for social from concept through to delivery, ensuring they are both high-performing and visually appealing
  • Collaborate with strategists, growth managers, and creative teams to translate briefs and performance insights into clear, effective, and beautiful ad creative
  • Be able to flex into a variety of design styles and aesthetics based on the requirements of a brief
  • Participate in creative ideation, keeping a finger on the pulse in terms of graphic design trends, as well as social and cultural trends
  • Use AI to improve processes and create production efficiencies, stay up-to-date on new releases and tools to improve and elevate your work
  • Contribute to broader brand initiatives, including print advertising, packaging, omni-channel campaigns, brand partnerships and more
  • Apply and evolve the Felix brand, including colour, typography, photography, and more, to deliver a beautiful and cohesive brand experience
  • Support design asset production cross-functionally for other ad-hoc design projects
  • Communicate design approach rationale clearly and effectively to stakeholders, both creative and non-creative

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in brand design, ideally in consumer-facing environments
  • Strong portfolio of static ad design for social, with a deep understanding of the differences between performance creative and brand creative
  • Holistic understanding of how to visually communicate brand values across multiple disciplines, including advertising, packaging, and print
  • Exceptional taste and intuitive understanding of aesthetics across many facets of design, like typography, colour, and layout
  • Well-versed in a variety of design software, including Adobe CC, Figma, and always looking for new tools to create
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
