Job Description
Business Process Specialist improving employee benefits workflows, AMS processes, reporting, and training at Marsh McLennan Agency. Remote role supporting standardized operations across regional and national teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and improve business processes, workflows, and data standards for Employee Health & Benefits
- Work with the Business Process Leader, national and regional representatives, and working groups
- Create standardized workflows across MMA using available technology
- Support configuration of the agency management system (AMS)
- Document and maintain processes, procedures, and business process artifacts
- Design reporting outputs and create client deliverables
- Develop and facilitate training for national and regional teams
- Define requirements, redesign processes, and implement best-in-class workflows
- Collaborate with training resources and stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps
- Support AMS onboarding and training needs
- Occasionally travel, including to off-site venues, overnight stays, and other operating companies
- Perform occasional weekend work surrounding scheduled migrations
- Report to the Business Process Leader
Requirements:
- Understanding of the insurance brokerage business
- Awareness of the impact and consequences of decisions affecting business process design
- Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with process improvement and workflow best practices
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple projects
- Demonstrated successful follow-through on deliverables
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and leaders
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes
- 3+ years of experience in Employee Benefits (listed as a plus, not required)
- Experience with CRM, AMS, and LMS systems such as Applied Epic, Salesforce, and Appinium (listed as a plus, not required)
