Job Description
Candidate Experience Specialist coordinating interviews, candidate communications, and hiring workflows for GitLab’s DevSecOps platform. Supporting recruiters and People Operations in an all-remote global organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Recruiters, hiring teams, and Recruiting leadership to understand and execute hiring plans for each job requisition
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date hiring process information in the applicant tracking system and GitLab repositories
- Manage candidate scheduling and organize interviews
- Ensure timely, thoughtful, and engaging candidate communication throughout the hiring process
- Monitor candidate pipelines and flag issues or bottlenecks
- Create and stage employment contracts for candidates receiving offers
- Partner with People Operations to create a seamless handoff for new team members
- Promote GitLab's values, culture, and all-remote approach as a brand ambassador
- Support a smooth, consistent, and inclusive hiring process across GitLab's global organization
Requirements:
- Experience supporting end to end hiring processes in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers, ideally in a fast paced or high volume environment
- Skill using an applicant tracking system to schedule, track, and move candidates through interview stages; Greenhouse experience is beneficial but not required
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and scheduling tools, and willingness to learn and use additional tools
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally with candidates and internal stakeholders at all levels, including executives
- Strength in organization, time management, and prioritization, with attention to detail
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across time zones and functions while maintaining confidentiality
- Interest in talent acquisition and contributing to an inclusive hiring process
- Comfort working in an all-remote, asynchronous environment with flexibility to support candidates and hiring teams across multiple time zones
- Must be based in the EST timezone
