Job Description
Care Assistant supporting Home Instead clients with personal care, companionship, and daily living. Helping Herefordshire residents remain safe and independent at home.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients to remain safe, happy, and independent in their own homes
- Visit clients in their homes and provide services promoting quality of life
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Take clients to appointments and social events
- Prepare meals and perform light housework
- Assist with shopping
- Provide personal care, including washing and dressing
- Provide medication support
- Maintain positive client relationships and continuity of care
- Participate in training and ongoing career development
Requirements:
- UK applicants only
- Minimum age of 18
- No specific qualification required
- Must be a driver with access to your own car
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- UK driving licence required
- Own vehicle required
- Business class 1 insurance required
- No sponsorship offered
- Availability for 16–40 hours per week, including 2 evenings and every other weekend
