Job Description
Part-time care assistant supporting older people with daily living, companionship, and personal care. Home Instead Northwich provides in-home care across Cheshire communities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for clients in Northwich, Knutsford, Tarporley, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, and surrounding areas
- Support clients with daily tasks, companionship, and home help
- Assist clients with personal support
- Support clients traveling to routine appointments and days out
- Prompt and support clients to take medication
- Build supportive relationships with clients and their wider families
- Document completed tasks
- Provide feedback supporting ongoing person-centred care
- Work 6 to 30 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours subject to availability and preferences
Requirements:
- Caring nature

- Willingness to make a difference in someone's life
- Can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Full UK driving licence and access to own private vehicle
- Ability to work as part of a team and complete lone working
- Strong timekeeping
- Must live in or around Northwich, Knutsford, Tarporley, Holmes Chapel, or Sandbach
- Must live within 15 miles of Northwich
- Willingness to travel 100%
- Right to work in the UK
- UK driving licence required
- No prior care experience needed; full training provided
- Availability for alternative weekends
- Availability for morning shifts (08:00–14:00) or late shifts (15:30–21:30)
