Job Description

CBO Administrator managing daily operations and staff coordination for health care billing. Responsible for quality outcomes, budgeting, and compliance in billing practices.

Responsibilities:

  • The CBO Administrator is responsible for management of the center and the coordination of all departments that employ either department managers, supervisors or team leaders.
  • Works with department managers and team leaders to coordinate staffing and quality work outcomes.
  • Oversees daily operations and delegates work as appropriate.
  • Prepares the annual budget and manages the center operations accordingly.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of principles and practices of employee development sufficient to ensure organizational productivity.
  • Ensures the implementation of Quality Initiatives, regulatory compliance programs and process improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or related area and/or Associates degree with 10+ years’ experience in an ambulatory health care facility where progressively responsible practice management or equivalent has been successfully demonstrated
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and inclusive teams; and collaborate with various departments is essential for this role
  • 3 years experience working with EPIC required
  • 3 years experience facilitating meetings and presenting data to multi-discipline groups required
  • 3 years progressive experience in A/R services, ICD-9/10 and CPT 4 skills required
  • 2 years progressive and demonstrated leadership experience, preferred
