Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant supporting Twin Health’s AI-powered metabolic care program. Handling member onboarding, intake, scheduling, documentation, and care-management administration remotely in the USA.

Responsibilities:

  • Work across practice areas including Intake, Member Enrollment, and Member Program Activation
  • Capture, enter, and confirm health profile information for virtual onboarding and visits
  • Collect and maintain accurate member health information while upholding HIPAA compliance
  • Conduct new-member phone call visits using scripts and complete documentation
  • Engage members about Twin Health in partnership with the Enrollment team
  • Coordinate scheduling and ensure accuracy of scheduled member visits
  • Provide administrative support for care management activities and team projects
  • Complete medication requests, tasking actions, lab reminders and scheduling, prior authorizations, and non-clinical triage
  • Use EMR tools/platforms, portal messages, phone calls, faxes, and letters
  • Assist RNs with onboarding tasks
  • Participate in team huddles, care management planning, operations meetings, and continuous process improvement
  • Perform follow-up calls to members and primary care providers
  • Support clinical operations through team workqueues and daily task assignments
  • Work under general supervision of the Team Leader and/or Registered Nurse Ops Manager
  • Complete other assigned duties, including updating policies and procedures and learning new technology

Requirements:

  • National Certification in Medical Assisting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years of college
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting working with clinicians
  • Three-five years of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator, or similar
  • Experience with electronic health records and platforms
  • Experience using audio/visual technology or video conferencing platforms
  • Knowledge of healthcare practices and medical vocabulary
  • Knowledge of patient intake, medical information capture, and medication reconciliation
  • Access to high-speed internet and phone lines
  • Bilingual, fluent in Spanish preferred
