Job Description
Finance Director responsible for scaling engineering group through acquisitions and integrations. Seeking experienced finance professionals for operational finance and controlling structures in a growth setting.
Responsibilities:
- Central role in building and scaling a high-growth corporate group in the field of electrical engineering
- Support the buy-and-build case from acquisition through integration to the establishment of professional finance, controlling and governance structures
- Role with a strong operational focus
- Take responsibility and actively shape initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Several years of experience in finance/controlling, ideally in a project- or contract-driven industrial environment (e.g., electrical engineering, plant engineering, technical services)
- Good knowledge of HGB accounting as well as operational controlling
- Experience or strong affinity for M&A/buy-and-build structures and post-merger integration (PMI)
- Practical experience in implementing or further developing ERP and reporting systems
- Solid understanding of working capital, cash flow and project margins
- Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of operational work
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong motivation to learn and to shape processes
