Job Description
Project Financial Support Team Leader overseeing project finance team ensuring accurate revenue recognition and operational support at Woolpert. Creating a strong team environment promoting growth and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily to function in a goal-oriented manner.
- Through supportive leadership, create an inspiring and trusting team environment promoting the growth of team members with an open communication culture.
- Responsible for effective planning and scheduling of workload and performance of team members.
- Coordinates team efforts to complete a timely month end project review.
- Assists, in limited capacity, with month-end Project Review week.
- Serves as Quality Control and review all projects, quarterly, to identify issues.
- Maintains lead point of contact for Finance and Finance Systems Director, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Sector Leaders for monthly reporting.
- Strives to increase EBITDA margins by developing and providing timely, consistent, accurate Key Performance Indicators reporting through use of Power Bi, Reporting, Month-end summaries/packages, perform data analysis and forecasting to support operational investments and decision making.
- Works with Finance and Financial Systems Director to assist with the Acquisition Integration procedures and processes.
Requirements:
- Must have a BA/BS and eight (8) years related experience, MA/MS and six (6) years related experience, or ten (10) years related experience.
- Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
- Must possess above average Microsoft Office suite skills.
- Must be proficient with Adobe products, database management software and the Internet.
- Must maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally.
- Must work equally well with all levels of management, clients, and employees.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of internal and external clients.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions to enhance organization effectiveness.
- Must demonstrate the ability to undertake self-directed tasks when necessary.
- Must possess strong conflict resolution skills.
- Must demonstrate excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate above average analytical skills.
- Must have above average MIS, accounting, and financial skills.
- Must be able to develop a work schedule, set goals, create/implement action plans and monitor progress towards goals.
- Must demonstrate the ability to make clear, timely decisions.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to travel occasionally.
