Job Description
Chief Technology & AI Officer responsible for technology strategy and AI integration at a leading legal marketing agency. Overseeing architecture, governance, and leadership across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own Company-Wide Technology & AI Strategy
- Define and maintain the long-term architecture for SMB Team and affiliated entities
- Ensure all technology decisions ladder up to scalability, leverage, and client results
- Design and Implement an Agentic Operating Model
- Architect AI agents across sales, service delivery, finance, operations, and internal reporting
- Clearly define what decisions should be automated vs human-led
- Establish a single source of truth for client and operational data
- Ensure real-time updates, notifications, and intelligent recommendations across teams
- Own data security, access permissions, and AI governance standards
- Ensure compliance across all tools, vendors, and integrations
- Set standards for tools and platforms
- Approve or reject technology investments and manage the tech budget
- Lead through influence and clarity, not micromanagement
- Partner closely with department leaders to redesign workflows and operating models
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years in senior technology, platform, or systems architecture roles
- Deep experience designing and scaling complex, integrated systems
- Strong understanding of AI, automation, and agent-based architectures
- Proven ability to operate as a strategic decision-maker, not just an implementer
- Experience supporting or integrating multiple business units or acquisitions
- Exceptional communication skills—able to translate technical vision into business impact
