Job Description
H&R Block expat client relationship professional coordinating remote client inquiries, tax-document workflows, payments, and filings. Supporting Expat Tax Advisors and international clients through phone, email, and software.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of communication for client inquiries received through the expat software, website, phone, and email, responding within 48 business hours
- Maintain records for all client inquiries in the expat software or other required systems
- Assist clients with setting up accounts and virtual folders in the software platform
- Oversee client workflow and communications, including inquiries, engagement signatures, tax-document uploads, payment processing, and filing
- Support clients throughout the process and ensure a great client experience
- Follow up with clients after initial inquiry to maximize conversion to paid clients
- Provide administrative support to Expat Tax Advisors, including client communication, printing tax returns, maintaining records, and processing and mailing documents to the IRS or other tax agencies
- Communicate with other Client Relationship Professionals and Expat Tax Advisors located in the US, Canada, and India
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage communications and workflow with many clients concurrently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and day-to-day tasks
- Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Suite applications, which may include virtual tools
- 1 year minimum related work experience
- Ability and confidence to acknowledge areas of uncertainty and pose questions to the team
- Strong organizational skills and follow-up to maximize conversion from inquiries to highly satisfied paid clients
- Fluent in multiple languages (preferred)
- Tax preparation experience (preferred)
