Job Description
Client support specialist consulting venture capital and private equity clients on portfolio monitoring and financial reporting. Onboarding clients and building integrated Excel reports for S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with venture capital/private equity clients to match portfolio monitoring and financial reporting offerings to their needs
- Assist with onboarding new clients to the platform, often taking a hands-on role throughout the process
- Consult with clients to make reporting as sticky as possible
- Build robust Excel reports integrated with S&P Global platforms
- Complete other client projects on an as-needed basis
- Contribute to process improvement projects
- Work directly with clients in a client-facing role
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Conceptual understanding of the SaaS business model
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in an efficient and responsible manner
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to document processes
- Experience working effectively in a team setting under deadline pressure
- Willingness to work long hours during critical periods such as quarterly reporting
- 4-year degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Mathematics, accounting or finance degree strongly preferred
- Experience with proprietary software, iLevel desirable
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Motivation to learn new applications
