Job Description

Clinical Support Specialist providing clinical support to healthcare professionals across New South Wales. Role involves education and in-servicing while traveling to clinics and hospitals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support, organise, and provide regular education/inservice to nurses, registrars and other relevant Health Care Professionals (HCPs)
  • Pass on potential leads to the Regional Territory Sales Managers
  • Organise and participate in trade shows and customer events.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, and providing data back to the team.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide timely business reporting, activity, and results in the CRM.
  • Inventory management such as counting consignment/loan stock, rep stock and providing logistics support where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Sciences and/or health science e.g. Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy etc.
  • Familiarity with working within the hospital environment - familiarity in an operating room is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to maintain a high level of reporting, documentation, and organisation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with co-workers, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to take accountability for the quality and timeliness of their work outputs
  • High level of proactive problem-solving skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required (depending on territory but up to 50%)
  • High level of experience working autonomously and within a small team environment
  • Must have a valid Passport, Full Driving License and Working with Children Check
