Job Description
Quality Control Advisor auditing commercial insurance files for Zensurance, a Canadian digital insurance platform. Analyzing root causes, improving broker workflows, and supporting compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular audits of sales files to ensure alignment with quality and compliance standards
- Investigate recurring errors and customer concerns to uncover underlying causes and prevent repeat issues
- Track audit metrics and prepare reports highlighting operational patterns, error trends, and areas for improvement
- Create practical job aids, tip sheets, and reference materials to help brokers avoid common pitfalls
- Share constructive feedback on workflows and update documentation as new tools and processes roll out
- Partner with Sales, Underwriting, and Product teams to align on quality standards, address bottlenecks, and support licensing compliance
- Analyze trends and identify underlying performance gaps
- Help create practical solutions supporting brokers' day-to-day work
- Report to the Team Lead and work alongside Sales Leaders and cross-functional teams to refine workflows, elevate team learning, and maintain high service standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years of auditing experience in the commercial insurance industry
- A RIBO license or progress toward industry designations such as CAIB or CIP is a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and look past symptoms to solve underlying process issues
- Experience creating straightforward job aids, workflows, or training guides
- Comfortable reviewing data, spotting trends, and drawing actionable insights from metrics
- Clear, constructive communication style with a focus on coaching and enablement rather than policing
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle recurring audit cycles independently
