Job Description
Compliance Engineer focusing on EU regulatory frameworks for ElevenLabs. Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance and build tools to simplify processes.
Responsibilities:
- Help navigate complex EU regulatory environments like GDPR and EU AI Act
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to embed compliance
- Write technical documentation for enterprise trust
- Build tooling for compliance efficiency
- Shape compliance strategy for regulated sectors like finance and telecommunications
- Turn regulatory complexity into competitive advantage
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with EU regulatory frameworks — GDPR, EU AI Act, DORA, NIS2, and/or HDS
- Hands-on with ISO 27001, ISO 42001, or the broader ISO 27000 series — gap analysis, risk assessments, audit support
- Able to produce clear, precise technical compliance documentation that stands up to enterprise scrutiny
- Comfortable supporting enterprise sales — responding to security questionnaires, customer compliance queries, and regulated-sector procurement
- Experience building or maintaining compliance-as-code tooling to automate monitoring and reduce manual overhead
- Based in EU/EMEA and able to operate within European business timezones
- Bonus: Direct experience in regulated industries such as financial services or telecommunications
- Bonus: Familiarity with CIS benchmarks and risk documentation at scale
- Bonus: Scripting or engineering background that lets you go beyond documentation into automation
