Job Description
Construction Manager overseeing mission critical construction project in Louisville, KY for Salas O’Brien, focused on delivering high-quality engineering and professional services solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a long‑term, mission critical construction project in Louisville, KY
- Responsible for end‑to‑end construction oversight, stakeholder coordination, and project execution
- Tailor unique solutions for HVAC/generator/utility to ensure uninterrupted equipment operation
- Lead weekly update construction conferences with clients
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and coordination with the design team
- Coordinate with all parties involved during construction phases
- Create Method of Procedure (MOPs) for clients detailing each step of a specific task on a project
- Ensure uninterrupted operations in critical environments through customized HVAC, generator, and utility solutions
- Develop client Method of Procedures for project execution
- Review construction drawings, maintain schedules, and update the client portal
- Build strong client relationships through high quality project delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward
- Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm
- Basic understanding of Building Automation/ Management systems
- Previous experience with commissioning, a plus
- Previous experience in a mission-critical facility, desired
- Proficiency in using engineering tools and software to: Develop project schedules and track progress against milestones and deadlines, Develop project budgets and track status, Manage project meeting notes and follow-up lists
