Job Description
Content Writer creating original text samples for LILT’s language data and AI evaluation initiatives. Applying domain expertise to support multilingual language technology benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
- Write an original, human-authored text in one or more subject domains
- Follow a provided prompt as the starting point for the writing
- Produce content supporting LILT’s language data and AI evaluation initiatives
- Ensure submissions are entirely original and contain no AI-generated, translated, or copied material
- Attest in writing to the originality of each submission
- Agree not to publish submitted content elsewhere under project confidentiality terms
- Complete a GenAI assessment
- Finalize onboarding and profile setup to become eligible for Applied AI projects
Requirements:
- Native-level fluency and strong writing skills in the target language
- Demonstrable subject-matter expertise in one or more domains, such as law, business, biography, religion, philosophy, or poetry
- Prior professional, academic, or published writing experience preferred
- Strong command of style, tone, and structure appropriate to the chosen domain
- Ability to work independently from a prompt with minimal creative guidance
- Strict adherence to originality and confidentiality requirements
- Reliable availability and commitment for accepted tasks
- Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week
- Submit an updated CV in English
- Complete a GenAI assessment
- Contractors cannot be engaged in regions subject to international embargoes or sanctions
- Contractors are solely responsible for their own tax obligations
