Job Description

Contract Administrator managing Federal Hub gas plant project obligations for a clean-energy staffing provider. Handling contract changes, risk, reporting, deliverables, and closeout.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage all prime contract obligations under Federal Hub contracts
  • Coordinate with the Federal Hubs Program Office and stakeholders on contract performance reporting, schedule submittals, and required certifications
  • Serve as primary contact between the NextEra project team and Federal Hub Owner's Representative for contract correspondence and formal communications
  • Maintain the contract deliverables requirements matrix and ensure submission of reports, plans, and documentation
  • Review, interpret, and flow down applicable contract clauses to project teams, equipment suppliers, and service providers
  • Track and administer RFI, submittal, and correspondence logs
  • Lead preparation, pricing, and negotiation of contract modifications, change orders, and equitable adjustments with project controls and legal
  • Participate in schedule reviews to assess contractual risk and flag exposure related to liquidated damages and milestone obligations
  • Conduct contract closeout, including final invoice reconciliation, release of liens, demobilization verification, and closeout certifications and documentation

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience managing engineering and construction projects with responsibility for budget oversight and execution
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, and quality management during project execution
  • Ability to administer and manage prime contract obligations
  • Ability to review, interpret, and flow down Federal Hub contract clauses
  • Experience preparing, pricing, and negotiating contract modifications, change orders, and equitable adjustments
  • Experience assessing contractual risk, liquidated damages, and milestone obligations
  • Experience conducting contract closeout activities
