Job Description
Coordinate effective HR administration, inventory management, and customer relations for Sandvik Mining. Responsible for OTC operations and compliance with legal standards in the mining industry.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and ensure effective operation, effective HR administration, scheduled maintenance and customer relation on all Over the Counter (OTC) and Cost Per Ton (CPT).
- Ordering and sourcing OTC stock.
- Request orders on all outsourced and refurbished stock and follow up with suppliers.
- Perform reconciliation of stock on allocated stockrooms.
- Monitor indicators related to inventory (forecast accuracy, fill rate, and OSMI).
- Monitor and control monthly departmental expenditure.
- Coordinate all departmental administrative activities (capturing and reporting parts usage, compiling overtime sheets for sign-off, capturing safety hazards/incidents).
- Maintain and update onsite personnel records.
- Tracking and recovering costs for financial department invoices.
- Provide back up support for team members on all business activities.
- Administrative duties to ensure compliance with site and legal standards.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Equivalent qualification
- Relevant post matric qualification (added advantage)
- At least 2 years’ experience in office administration
- Computer literacy (Excel spreadsheets, graphical presentations, charts)
- Knowledge of Maximo, SAP or related maintenance program
- English proficiency
