Job Description
Controller overseeing accounting for global SaaS and professional services company ensuring financial integrity and compliance. Leading monthly and annual close processes across multiple entities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting for a multi-national legal entity structure
- Ensure accurate intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reconciliations across entities
- Coordinate the monthly consolidation process, rolling up U.S., Canada, and India results into consolidated U.S. financial reporting
- Partner with the CFO and external advisors on cross-border accounting considerations, including currency, statutory requirements, and intercompany arrangements
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and ensure timely, accurate issuance of departmental financial statements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation
- Hands-on experience owning month-end and year-end close
- Experience in a technology, SaaS, or ERP-centric environment
- Strong understanding of deferred revenue and prepaid expense accounting
- Advanced ERP user skills with experience owning or administering accounting workflows
