Job Description

Corporate Counsel providing legal expertise in corporate compliance and supporting innovation at Riverside Insights through legal solutions and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal expertise across corporate and commercial matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold compliance and deliver legal solutions.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate agreements (vendor, client, data privacy, service, and NDAs).
  • Execute redlines and recommend strategic approaches.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver mini-trainings on compliance topics for internal stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships as a trusted legal advisor to internal teams.
  • Ensure timely contract reviews and adherence to service-level agreements.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in a corporate compliance or legal environment (including internships or clerkships).
  • Strong analytical and research skills with ability to interpret and apply legal principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance issues.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with CLM or compliance management software.
  • Experience delivering compliance training to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
