Job Description
Corporate finance professional evaluating AI assistants on realistic accounting and finance tasks. Creating prompts, testing responses, and rating deliverables for Mercor’s AI-training projects.
Responsibilities:
- Write short, realistic finance and accounting requests
- Work with an AI assistant over several turns
- Steer the assistant, answer its questions, and challenge incorrect responses
- Rate the experience and deliverable against a professional standard
- Write short notes on what went well or badly
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Accountant, FP&A analyst, controller, auditor, tax professional, or finance manager experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in corporate finance, accounting, FP&A, audit, or tax
- Work in spreadsheets every day
- Use AI assistants at least occasionally
- Write clearly in English
- Must be located in a country where the assistant is available
- Must not be an H1-B or STEM OPT candidate
- Independent contractor engagement
