Job Description
PeopleSoft Functional Analyst supporting the City of Seattle’s Accounts Payable automation project. Configuring Financials modules, mapping data, troubleshooting integrations, and validating functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials, focusing on AP, PO, and GL modules
- Perform data mapping and analyze data flows between PeopleSoft and integrated systems
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and integration-related issues
- Work closely with business stakeholders and testing teams to validate functionality and resolve defects
- Analyze existing PeopleSoft configurations and quickly adapt to the City's environment
- Support functional testing, issue resolution, and business process improvements
- Collaborate with project team members to complete assigned deliverables
- Support an Accounts Payable automation project for the City of Seattle
Requirements:
- Hands-on functional experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials
- Strong understanding of AP, PO/Purchasing, and GL modules
- Experience with data mapping, data flows, and functional troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience supporting testing activities and resolving functional defects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to quickly understand existing system configurations and business processes
- 3+ years of PeopleSoft functional experience preferred
- Experience with AP automation, system integrations, or invoice processing workflows preferred
- Familiarity with OCR-based invoice processing and automated workflows preferred
- Experience collaborating with business users, technical teams, and QA teams preferred
